Your guided tour will take you to some of the city’s most iconic sights, including the lush Stanley Park, home to a remarkable collection of Indigenous totem poles. Enjoy scenic views along English Bay, explore the fashionable boutiques and cafés of Robson Street, and visit the waterfront landmark of Canada Place and the bustling Cruise Ship Pier. You’ll also wander through the historic charm of Gastown and the cultural richness of Chinatown, with plenty of other fascinating stops along the way.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace.

Vancouver – Kelowna – Vernon

Today, embark on a memorable journey eastward, leaving behind the coastal charm of the Pacific as you travel through diverse and breathtaking landscapes. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the changing scenery as you make your way toward British Columbia’s picturesque Okanagan Valley.

Nestled in the heart of south-central BC, the Okanagan is renowned for its sun-soaked orchards, rolling vineyards, and sparkling lakes. Along the way, enjoy a delightful stop at a local winery, where you’ll sample regional wines and learn about the valley’s rich winemaking heritage.

In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Vernon, a charming lakeside town where you’ll settle in for a peaceful overnight stay. Though it’s a full day of travel, every mile brings a new view and a deeper appreciation for the beauty of British Columbia.

Meals included: None

Vernon – Lake Louise – Banff

Depart early for a scenic full-day journey through the stunning Okanagan Valley toward the majestic Canadian Rockies. It’s a longer travel day, but the changing landscapes from lush valleys to towering peaks make it truly rewarding.

En route, we pass the Glacier Spiral Tunnels and Yoho National Park, before arriving at the breathtaking Lake Louise. Framed by the Victoria Glacier, its emerald waters offer a picture-perfect stop.

Then, ascend to 2,088 m (6,850 ft) by chairlift or gondola to take in panoramic mountain views and keep an eye out for grizzly bears in one of Banff National Park’s best wildlife areas. A lunch buffet is included.

Note: The Lake Louise Gondola is subject to seasonality and generally operates from late May to early October. In the event the Gondola is not available on your date, the Tour Leader will advise you on tour and an alternative itinerary and lunch will be provided.

Arrive in Banff by early evening, nestled in the heart of the Rockies. Enjoy this evening at leisure where you can stroll into town and explore the many different restaurants this beautiful town has to offer, or catch the Gondola to the top of Banff to enjoy the view and a optional buffet dinner or drink.

Meals included: Lunch

Banff - Calgary

Start your day with a tour of the Banff region, Canada’s first national park, established in 1885 to protect its famous hot springs. Highlights include the historic Banff Springs Hotel, Tunnel Mountain, and the scenic Bow Falls.

In the afternoon, we head east on the Trans-Canada Highway toward Calgary, a vibrant city where the prairies meet the mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour, passing key landmarks like the Calgary Tower, Stampede Grounds, Stephen Avenue Mall, the financial district, and sites from the 1988 Winter Olympics.

Meals included: None

Calgary – Edmonton

Today, we travel north toward Alberta’s capital, Edmonton, with a stop in the charming city of Red Deer. Its name comes from a mix-up—early Scottish settlers mistook local elk, called “was-ka-soo” in Cree, for red deer. Originally located upstream, the town shifted to its current location with the arrival of the Calgary and Edmonton Railway.

Enjoy lunch on your own and, if you wish, an optional visit to the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery (free admission), featuring an impressive collection of Indigenous art from Inuit, Anishinaabe, Cree, and Blackfoot artists.

In the early afternoon, we arrive in Edmonton for a guided city tour. A highlight of the day is a stop at the West Edmonton Mall, home to over 800 shops and attractions, including the world’s largest indoor amusement park, two indoor lakes, an NHL-sized skating rink, and even an 18-hole mini golf course, a true one-of-a-kind experience!

Meals included: None

Edmonton – Jasper

This morning, we bid farewell to Edmonton and set off westward toward the breathtaking landscapes of Jasper National Park. As we travel through gentle foothills, the majestic, snowcapped peaks of the Rocky Mountains gradually rise on the horizon, guiding us into one of Canada’s most stunning natural treasures.

Jasper National Park offers a vast panorama of towering mountains, ancient glaciers, vibrant wildflower meadows, and crystal-clear lakes. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a brief orientation tour, including a stop in Jasper’s charming downtown and visits to the serene Patricia Lake and Pyramid Lake.

We’ll spend the night in the peaceful mountain town of Jasper.

Meals included: None

Jasper – Kamloops

Today is a longer travel day but incredibly rewarding travel day as we venture deep into the heart of British Columbia’s interior, with ever-changing scenery that promises to captivate. Departing Jasper, we follow the path of the Thompson River, winding through the forested Shuswap Highlands and into the golden, rolling ranchlands of the interior plateau.

Along the way, we’ll make a memorable stop at Wells Gray Provincial Park, a hidden gem known for its dramatic waterfalls and sweeping vistas. We’ll drive the main park road, with stops at several easily accessible natural highlights including Helmcken Falls, Spahat Falls, Moul Falls, Osprey Falls, and the panoramic Green Mountain Tower Lookout.

As the day winds down, we arrive in the welcoming city of Kamloops, ready to relax and reflect on a day full of stunning landscapes and natural wonders.

Meals included: None

Kamloops – Vancouver

This morning, we leave behind the dusty ranchlands of British Columbia’s “cowboy country” and follow the dramatic path of the Thompson and Fraser Rivers, where the road winds through steep canyons, clinging to rocky walls above churning waters.

As we near the Pacific Coast, the rugged terrain gives way to a lush, fertile valley, framed by distant mountains and dotted with farms and orchards. Our journey ends in the vibrant coastal city of Vancouver, where urban energy meets natural beauty, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Coastal Mountains.
